Simon Geschke is one of the early attackers and he takes an impressive victory home after a 50 kilometres solo over two mountains. Froome cements his lead with Contador crashing in the downhill of the Col d'Allos, while Van Garderen abandons.

Wednesday, July 22, 2015 - Two spicy climb plus a top finish, that’s enough amo to look forward to the day after the rest day. The first Alpine trip in La Grande Boucle 2015 leads from Digne-les-Bains to Pra Loup. Three cols make up for a splendid start for a quartet of mountain stages in the next couple of days.
