The last stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour is played out in rainy conditions on fast tarmac. After the route takes in 26 laps on the Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit the race end with a bunch sprint. Caleb Ewan outperforms Mark Cavendish and André Greipel, while Rui Costa takes the overall win in the 2017 Abu Dhabi Tour.

Abu Dhabi Tour 2017: Rui Costa takes Queen Stage and overall lead

The decisive stage in the Abu Dhabi Tour travels to the 10.8 kilometres closing climb up to Jebel Hafeet. Rui Costa attacks with 7 kilometres remaining and he is accompanied by Ilnur Zakarin. The former World Champion is fastest in the sprint, while Quintana and Contador stare each other down and finish 1 minute in arrears.

Abu Dhabi Tour 2017: Kittels bests Ewan by millimetres, Cav still leader

The route of the 2nd stage in the Abu Dhabi Tour is a sprinter's dream. Yesterday's Kittel-Cav-Greipel-Ewan clash turned sour after a crash in the last kilometre - today the world’s best sprinters go head-to-head in a dramatic finale. Kittel outsprints Ewan with the tiniest of margins, while Cav holds on to the overall lead.
