Matthews – too hard course for him. Woods was in bad form in final week of Tour. Powless not good in entire Tour. Basque riders Izagirre and Bilbao never impressed in this race

Where is Tiesj Benoot, 3rd last year? Someone from Ineos – Rodriguez or Tulett? Hirschi is in good form and was 3rd before, deserves 2 stars imo. Worth to consider are young Roman Gregoire and experienced Rudy Molard – French riders. Guillaume Martin too. Race very hard to predict.
