Vuelta a España 2017: Route and stages
The 2017 Vuelta a España will leave Saturday, 19 August, with a team time trial in Nîmes, France, to arrive on Sunday, 10 September, in Madrid. The route features nine summit finishes with the Angliru on the penultimate day the most prominent. Another eyecatcher is the Alto la Hoya de Mora, a climb of 30 kilometres in the Sierra Nevada. All in all, the Vuelta takes in nine summit finishes in 2017.
