Last year, Adriano Malori won the closing stage, which was an ITT. Degenkolb was one of the last fast men standing by then, as most already abandoned after al the hard work in the mountains. The German had still a goal left as he won the points jersey.
This year, he is not as successful in Spain. But may be in Madrid his luck changes.
*** John Degenkolb
** Danny van Poppel
* Tom Van Asbroeck, José Joaquin Rojas
