At 16.5 kilometres, the closing stage of the Tour of the Basque Country is an individual time trial on a mountainous parcours containing a 5.5 kilometres climb at 8.5%. That's where Aberto Contador hits hard. The Spaniard powers to the stage win and overall victory. Well deserved after two times in second in both Paris-Nice and the Volta a Catalunya.
