Pinot outsprints De la Cruz, Bardet wins GC
The Tour of the Alps finishes with a rain soaked hilly race. Thibaut Pinot outguns David de la Cruz in a sprint-à-deux. Romain Bardet drops Pello Bilbao on the last climb to win the GC ahead of the youngsters Michael Storer and Thymen Arensman.

Superman López wins with late attack, Bilbao still leader
Thibaut Pinot escapes from the breakway on the climb to the line, but Miguel Ángel López overhauls him under the flamme rouge. The Colombian takes the win. Pello Bilbao stays in the GC lead, although Romain Bardet is only 2 seconds behind.

Lennard Kämna wins the 3rd stage on the Tour of the Alps from the breakaway, while Pello Bilbao stays in the overall race lead. Bardet and Valter still sit in second and third.

The 2nd stage of the Tour of the Alps is a race with 3,200 metres of climbing. It comes down to a sprint of a small group. Pello Bilbao takes the spoils to move into the GC lead.
