Tour of the Alps 2019
Pavel Sivakov won the 43rd edition of the Tour of the Alps ahead of Tao Geoghegan Hart and Vincenzo Nibali. The mountainous 5-day race started on Monday 22 April 2019 to finish on Friday the 26th.

Masnada wins again while Sivakov seals GC victory
The Tour of the Alp serves a hearty meal in its final stage. Two massive climbs in the second half of the 148 kilometres race before a downhill leads to a flat run-in of 8 kilometres. Attacker Fausto Masnada wins his second stage and Pavel Sivakov seals the overall victory. Tao Geogegan Hart finishes in second, Vincenzo Nibali in third.

Geoghegan Hart outsprints Nibali, Sivakov still leader
The 4th stage of the Tour of the Alps takes in demanding climbs up the Forcella di Brez and Passo Predaia, while the finale features the steep La Puntara climb. Majka, Sivakov, Nibali and Geoghegan Hart battle it out with the young Briton coming out on top. The Russian youngster remains leader.
