Tour of Qatar 2015
February 8th through February 13th the 14th edition of the Tour of Qatar was marked by echelons and crosswinds. While Alexander Kristoff took three stage-wins it was Paris-Roubaix winner Niki Terpstra who outperformed the pack by taking the overall.

Stage 6 - Bennett stage win, Terpstra takes GC

Stage 5 - Kristoff takes third
Crosswinds once again! Straight from the start the pack is torn apart and the pace is high. Eventually it's business as usual for Kristoff when the Norwegian takes his third, outsprinting Sagan on the line. Niki Terpstra is GC leader.Read more »
Stage 4 - Kristoff outsprints Sagan
In the 165 kilometres stage to Messaieed three ecapees spice up the race. With 20 kilometres left they are reeled in and the pack gets ready for a bunch sprint. Alexander Kristoff outsprints Peter Sagan and takes his second stage in Qatar. Niki Terpstra is still the overall leader.Read more »
ITT - Terpstra powers to win
Niki Terpstra is super-strong in the ITT on the Lusail Circuit. He bests both Cancellara and Wiggins and seems set to take the overall. Only GC-rider threatening him could be Bodnar, who is now 11 seconds down in the overall, and Stannard, at 12 seconds.Read more »
Alexander Kristoff, Master of the Crosswinds in stage 2
Echelons! Straight from the start Etixx makes good use of the crosswinds and tears the pack apart. When the pace drops after 50 km’s Greg Van Avermat attacks, but he and his fellow-escapees are reeled in after Etixx sends the pack flying once again. Eventually the stage boils down to a sprint with 15 riders. Alexander Kristoff is fastest and wears the leaders jersey tomorrow.Read more »
