Tour of Lombardy 2021

Tadej Pogacar won edition 115 of the Tour of Lombardy, while Fausto Masnada and Adam Yates rounded out the podium. The fifth of cycling's five Monuments took place on Saturday 9 October 2021. The race travelled from Como to Bergamo and amounted to 239 kilometres.

Pogacar outguns Masnada in two-up sprint

Tadej Pogacar attacks on the Passo di Ganda, while Fausto Masnada tracks him down in the descent. The Tour de France winner outguns the homerider in the streets of Bergamo before Adam Yates wins the sprint of the chase group to finish in third.

The Route

Saturday 9 October - After last year's August edition the 'Race of the Falling Leaves' is back at its familiar time slot. At 239 kilometres, the race travels from Como to a challenging finale in Bergamo. Virtually all climbing is crammed together in the last 150 kilometres.
