Tour of Lombardy 2018

The 112th edition of the Tour of Lombardy was won by Thibaut Pinot. He soloed to victory ahead of defending champion Vincenzo Nibali. Dylan Teuns won the group sprint to take third place. Amounting to 241 kilometres and taking in 4,000 metres of vertical elevation, the race started in Bergamo and finished in Como. The 2018 edition of the Tour of Lombardy took place on Saturday, October 13th.

The Route

Saturday, 13 October 2018 - At 241 kilometres, this year's Tour of Lombardy runs from Bergamo to Como. The race runs on virtually the same route as last edition with the only modification being in the finale. The route features iconic climbs up Madonna del Ghisallo and Muro di Sormano, while this year's last hill is the punchy 1,7 kilometres climb to Monte Olimpino. The race ends with a 3 kilometres drop down to the finish line in Como.
