Tour of Lombardy 2017
Vincenzo Nibali won the 111th edition of the Tour of Lombardy with a strong solo. He attacked on descent of the Civiglio, which was the penultimate climb, to power to the win. Julian Alaphilippe came in second, while Gianni Moscon finished in third. The race was played out on the 7th of October on a route of 247 kilometres with an elevation gain of approximately 4,000 metres.

The route of the 2017 Tour of Lombardy was a copy of the 2015 edition, when Vincenzo Nibali soloed to a similar victory after attacking on the downhill of the Civiglio.
