Race report
After almost 100 kms Rozanne Slik attacks and she races to a lead of 1’30”, yet she is caught at Kanarieberg when Kasia Niewiadoma makes a move. All other favourites jump to her wheel. Front group at some 30 riders.

Anna van der Breggen leaves with 30 kms left and is accompanied by Elisa Longo Borghini, Annemiek van Vleuten and Kasia Nieuwadoma. They race to a lead of half a minute, yet it’s shrinking. At Oude Kwaremont they are almost brought back, but not quite. Van der Breggen accelerates with Longo Borghini on her wheel, but the other two make it back. At the top of Paterberg they are 44 seconds adrift.

A group with Rivera, Elvin, Kopecky, Deignan, Blaak, Pieters, Rivera, Van Dijk, Barnes, Cecchini, and Ensing closes the gap in the last kilometre.

In the ensuing sprint 24-yo Coryn Rivera bests Gracie Elvin and Chantal Blaak.
