Tadej Pogacar won the 14th edition of the Tour of California ahead of Sergio Higuita and Kasper Asgreen. The race was held between Sunday 12 May and Saturday 18 May 2019.

Bol takes Pasadena stage, Pogacar wins GC
Cees Bol powers to victory in the final sprint of the Tour of California, while Tadej Pogacar seals the overall victory ahead of Sergio Higuita and Kasper Asgreen.

Pogacar takes Mt. Baldy stage to move into GC lead
Two young climbers take control in the mountain stage to Mount Baldy. Tadej Pogacar and Sergio Higuita battle it out in the last kilometres before the Slovenian outguns the Colombian on the line. They are placed first and second on GC with Kasper Asgreen now in third.

Iván García wins group spint, Van Garderen still leader
Iván Garciá powers to victory in the 5th stage of the Tour of California. The 23-year old Spaniard outsmarts Maximiliano Richeze and is the fastest rider of a group of 27 riders. Tejay van Garderen holds the GC lead.

Young Fabio Jakobsen outguns Jasper Philipsen and Peter Sagan at the end of the 4th stage on the Tour of California. Tejay van Garderen retains the GC lead, although he crashes in the finale.
