Tour Down Under 2017
The 2017 Tour Down Under was a very straightforward race. Caleb Ewan took all the chances for the sprinters, while Richie Porte was in a class of his own on the hills. After soloing to victory on the two hilltop arrivals he was the obvious overall winner. Esteban Chaves finished in second and Jay McCarthy in third

At148.5 kilometres, the stage from Stirling to Paracombe concludes with a steep closing climb. On the ramps of almost 10% Richie Porte hit it hard to crush his opponents and grab the leaders jersey. The Tasmanian finishes 16 seconds ahead of Gorka Izagirre and Esteban Chaves.Read more »
