Tour Down Under 2014 Results stage 3 and GC
Cadel Evans was the big winner in the 3rd stage of the 2014 Tour Down Under. He won the stage from Norwood to Campbelltown and took the lead in the GC.
Evans escaped on Corkscrew Road, an ascent at about 10 kilometers from the finish line with a max gradient of 15%, and won the stage with a lead of 15 seconds over the following group. Simon Gerrans, the former GC leader, is now the runner up.
