Tour de Suisse 2016
The 2016 Tour de Suisse was won by 22-year old Miguel Ángel López. From start to finish, the race was marked by bad weather. Big names Tejay van Garderen, Geraint Thomas and triple winner Rui Costa couldn't live up to their reputation and on the podium López was flanked by Ion Izagirre and Warren Barguil. Peter Sagan was the master of the hilly stages, winning two, and bringing his total to 13 stage wins in the Tour de Suisse, which is a record.
