Tour de Romandie 2022 Route stage 2: Echallens - Echallens

Thursday 28 April - The 2nd stage on the Tour de Romandië is a race of 168.2 kilometres with an altitude gain of over 2,600 metres. Altough the route is far from flat, this should be the chance for sprinters to shine in this edition.

The route goes up and down during the entire day, but there's is only one KOM climb. In La Praz the riders reach an elevation of 871 metres after a 6.7 kilometres climb at 4.6%.

As mentioned, the rest of the route is far from flat either, but the gradients never exceed 5%. So its best to speak of a day on undulating roads. Which should be of interest to strongmen sprinters.

The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
