Tour de France 2017 Favourites stage 6: Fast & furious in Troyes

Who are favourite to win the 6th stage of the Tour de France? A very likely scenario is the to come down to a bunch sprint in the streets of Troyes. (Slideshow route/profile)

The sixth day of the Tour de France brings the third chance for sprinters te shine. The route of stage 6 travels in 216 kilometres from Vesoul to Troyes. A long day in the saddle, but the course makes up for that. Gently sloping roads in the first part, getting flatter along the way. If nothing goes astray, we should see the trains of the spint teams navigating the streets of Troyes in the finale.

In the 2nd stage Marcel Kittel outsprinted Arnaud Démare and André Greipel.

The second sprint, in stage 4, was won by Arnaud Démare ahead of Kristoff and Greipel.
