Strade Bianche 2022

Tadej Pogacar won the 16th edition of the Strade Bianche. The Slovene reached the Piazza del Campo in Siena solo. Alejandro Valverde and Kasper Asgreen rounded out the podium. The race took place on Saturday 5 March 2022.

Pogacar solos to impeccable triumph

Tadej Pogacar attacks with 50 kilometres to go and solos to a commanding victory. Alejandro Valverde and Kasper Asgreen round out the podium.

The Route

Saturday 5 March - In the rolling landscape of Tuscany the toughest sections are on twisting gravel paths, often rising at double digit gradients. The route of the Strade Bianche adds up to 184 kilometres, one third of which unpaved.
