Ruta del Sol 2021 Route stage 4: Baza - Cúllar Vega
The riders traverse the rolling roads to the north of the Sierra Nevada. The route is far from flat, but the climbs are never excessively demanding either. Chances are that it will come down the a bunch sprint in the streets of Cúllar Vega.
Although the Sierra Nevada looms to the east the area is as good as flat. So a bunch sprint is the most likely outcome in the town of 7,100 people.
The last bunch sprints in the Vuelta a Andalucía happened two editions ago. In 2019, Matteo Trentin took the spoils in Alhaurín de la Torre and in Torredonjimeno.
