Race report
A group of eighteen riders jump clear after 11 kilometres. Ángel Madrazo, Nelson Oliveira, Sonny Colbrelli, Silvan Dillier and David de la Cruz are the most prominent attackers, while Lennard Hofstede, Floris De Tier, Kobe Goossens, Maurits Lammertink and Jimmy Janssens - who all were in a break somewhere this week - are also on board. The lead group carves out a maximum gap of almost 3 minutes.

The break is history with 25 kilometres out. A little later leader Fuglsang accelerates on the steeper slopes of the Purche climb. Landa closes the gap with Haig, McNulty, Izagirre and Soler on his wheel.

Fuglsang, Landa and Haig reach the crest together with McNulty and Izagirre 25 seconds in arrears. Which is enough to stay ahead.

In the streets of Granada Haig outsprints Fuglsang and Landa.

Ahead of the decisive time trial Fuglsang leads the GC 14 seconds ahead of Landa with Haig another 21 seconds further behind.
