Wout van Aert soloed to victory in the 77th edition of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Sonny Colbrelli and Greg Van Avermaet sprinted to the places two and three. At 204 kilometres and including 13 'hellingen', the Omloop was held on Saturday 26 February 2022.

The Route

Saturday 26 February - Omloop Het Nieuwsblad is the first major Classic of 2022. The 204 kilometres route features thirteen climbs and seven cobbled sectors. The one-two punch of the Wall of Geraardsbergen and Bosberg in the finale is expected to be decisive.
