La Course 2018
Annemiek van Vleuten won the 5th edition of La Course ahead of Anna van der Breggen. The race traveled over four intermediate climbs. Van der Breggen attacked in the last kilometre of the last climb, the Col de la Colombière, and crested seconds ahead of Van Vleuten, who kept chasing. In the dying metres she overhauled her compatriot to pocket a second consecutive victory in La Course. Ashleigh Moolman finished in third.

Van Vleuten outguns Van der Breggen in thrilling finale
La Course is a 112.5 kilometres race through the Alps and it comes down to the ultimate metres. In a race with four intermediate climbs Anna van der Breggen attacks in the last kilometre of the Col de la Colombière. Annemiek van Vleuten travels a few seconds after her over the top.
