La Course 2017
Annemiek van Vleuten won the 4th edition of La Course, a race that took in a mountain stage on day one and a pursuit on day two. Van Vleuten climbed to victory on the Col d'Izoard and she widened the gap in the ensuing pursuit in Marseille. Lizzie Deignan and Elisa Longo Borghini rounded out the podium.

At 22.5 kilometres, the 2nd stage of La Course is a pursuit in Marseille. The winner of stage 1, Annemiek van Vleuten, is the first starter, 43 seconds ahead of Lizzie Deignan-Armitstead. Van Vleuten powers to an impressive victory in the Marseille Velodrome, almost 2 minutes ahead of Deignan and Longo Borghini.Read more »
