Giro Rosa 2018
Annemiek van Vleuten won the 29th edition of the Giro Rosa ahead of Ashleigh Moolman and Amanda Spratt. Winning three stages, the Dutch rider was in a class of her own. The 2018 Giro Rosa race was played out from Friday, July 7th, to Sunday, the 15th.

Annemiek van Vleuten wins final stage and GC
The Giro Rosa's 10th stage features several loops around Cividale del Friuli. The finale is marked by a 6 kilometres climb at 7.1% with its peak 10.6 kilometres before the finish. Maglia rosa attacks in the last uphill kilometres and holds off the chasers on descent. Lucinda Brand sprints to second place with Kasia Niewiadoma in third.Read more »
Van Vleuten cements lead with Zoncolan victory
The Queen Stage of the Giro Rosa heads into the Carnic Alps. In the last kilometres of the Monte Zoncolan, a 10.1 kilometres climb at 11.9%, she leaves Ashleigh Moolman behind to solo to victory. Her GC victory in this year's edition is next to certain. Moolman climbs to second place, Amanda Spratt now sits in third.Read more »
Marianne Vos sprints to victory, Annemiek van Vleuten still in pink
Stage 8 in the Giro Rosa is a hilly race in Breganze. Following a late attack Marianne Vos sprints to victory in Breganze ahead of Elisa Longo Borghini and Lucinda Brand. Annemiek van Vleuten crosses the line 23 seconds later, but retains the maglia rosa.Read more »
Annemiek van Vleuten climbs to mountain time trial win and maglia rosa
The Giro Rosa's 7th stage is a mountain time trial, featuring one 15 kilometres climb at 6.7%. Annemiek van Vleuten wins the race more than 2 minutes ahead of Ashleigh Moolman and propels into the maglia rosa. She leads the overall almost 3 minutes ahead of her team mate Amanda Spratt.Read more »
Mountain top victory brings Amanda Spratt maglia rosa
The 6th stage offers the first mountain top finish of the 2018 Giro Rosa. Following almost 100 kilometres on the flat, the last 15 kilometres climb at 5.4%. Amanda Spratt goes alone with 4 kilometres left and solos to victory. Annemiek van Vleuten finishes in second, 29 seconds down on the Australian, who takes the pink jersey.Read more »
