Giro Donne 2022 Route stage 5: Carpi - Regio Emilia
The route is flat from the start. The only part of the route that's slightly different begins 45 kilometres before the finish. For about 15 kilometres the route rises false flat and after another 15 kilometres on the flat the road descends for a bit. The last 13 kilometres are - again - as flat as a curling rink.
Three riders battled it out in the first two sprint stages - Elisa Balsamo, Marianne Vos, and Charlotte Kool. The first two both took a win, the latter did not.
The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
