Race report
World Champion Dideriksen doesn’t survive the hills, all other favourites are together in the finale. With 15 kms to go Garfoot, Van Dijk, Bronzini and Majerus, while Sierra and Bastianelli bridge over. Yet, they are reeled in.

Janneke Ensing attacks with 5 kms to go. Olga Zabelinskaya hooks up. But with 2 kms left they are caught.

The ensuing sprint is won by Lepistö ahead of D’Hoore. Title defender Blaak comes in ninth.
