Race report
At almost 53 km/h in the first 20 kms, the start is very fast. Still Chad Haga, Luka Pibernik, Alexis Gougeard, Bert Van Lerberghe, Berden de Vries and Mark McNally manage to force a gap, which they widen to 5 minutes.

At the last climb, Muizenberg, the lead is down to 1 minute. A little later De Vries is dropped from the front group.

Due to a lack of cohesion in the peloton the escapee can sprint for the won. 22-year old Slovenian Luka Pibernik is fastest, outsprinting McNally and Van Lerberghe.
