Eneco Tour 2015
The Eneco Tour 2015 was nothing short of a spectacle race. After three sprint stages and an ITT, the GC-battle exploded in stages 5, 6 and 7, more or less Eneco-versions of Amstel Gold Race, Liege-Bastogne-Liege and the Tour of Flanders. Young Tim Wellens powered to glory in stage 6, which proved to be the fundament for his overall win. Greg Van Avermaet and Wilco Kelderman were the other riders at the podium.

The closing stage of the Eneco Tour is a kind of Tour of Flanders with 17 hills. Manuel Quinziato is in the early break and he proves to be strongest. He attacks with 5 kilometres left and soloes to victory at the Wall of Geraardsbergen. Leader Tim Wellens and his team Lotto Soudal control the race with ease and the back to back overall win of the young Flemish rider at Eneco is not endangered. Strong performance!Read more »
Brilliant Tim Wellens solos to win and leader's jersey
In 208.6 kilometres, stage 6 is the langest of the 2015 Eneco Tour. In rainy conditions in the Ardennes the race is nothing short of spectacular with Greg Van Averamet attacking with 70 km's left. Spectacle until the end with young Tim Wellens taking control with 23 kilometres left. He soloes to victory and is the new overall leader. Le Bon wins spectacle race, Kelderman leader
Stage 5 is a 179.6 kilometres ride with 27 climbs in the south of the Netherlands. More or less the Eneco-version of the Amstel Gold Race. Le Bon and Van Baarle bring an early break home, albeit with a tiny margin. Le Bon is escapes in the rain-drenched finale and powers to victory. Kelderman is in the chasing group and is the new leader, with a 1 second gain over his compatriot Van Baarle.Read more »
Jos van Emden powers to win and overall lead
The Eneco Tour's ITT is on a flat track of 14 kilometres. Home-rider Jos van Emden blasts to the win, with his team-mate Wilco Kelderman finishing second. Van Emden is the new leader, while Kelderman is the best GC rider in the overall.Read more »
Boonen wins in home country
Stage 3 in the Eneco Tour takes the riders in 172 kilometres from Beveren to Ardooie and it's there good old Tom Boonen blasts to victory in the bunch sprint. Young Dutchman Jesper Asselamn holds on to the leader's jersey, albeit with a 1 second margin.Read more »
