Chantal Blaak sprints to victory in the Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition. The World Champion outguns Lucinda Brand and Amanda Spratt on the line. The three are the best escapees over the Cauberg and hold off the chasers in the last 1.6 kilometres to the line.

Sunday, 15 April 2018 – The Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition is played out on a 119.4 kilometres route featuring 17 hills. A 17.8 kilometres closing circuit is bound to be decisive with climbs up Geulhemmerberg, Bemelerberg and Cauberg. That last climb is crested with 1.6 kilometres remaining.
