Amstel Gold Race 2018
Michael Valgren Andersen won the 53rd edition of the Amstel Gold Race. The Dane jumped clear in the front group with 2 kilometres to go and Roman Kreuziger rejoined him, only to be bested at the line. Enrico Gasparotto was the only rider to go after them and the Italian finished in third. The 2018 Amstel Gold Race was held on April 15th.

The Amstel Gold Race features 263 kilometres and 35 hills. Michael Valgren wins the race after a late attack in an elite eight-rider group with Peter Sagan and Alejandro Valverde. Only Roman Kreuziger tracks him down, but the 26-year old Dane is much faster on the line. Enrico Gasparatto rounds out the podium.Read more »
